    About Lynne Texter

    Lynne A. Texter, Ph.D. An award-winning educator with teaching experience in the U.S., Czech Republic, Switzerland, and Greece, Lynne consults with a variety of organizations and specializes in several areas, including workplace communication, presentation skills, and persuasion/influence. In addition to her most recent administrative role as Associate Provost of Teaching and Learning and her faculty role in the Department of Communication at La Salle University, Lynne has served as interim Provost & Vice President of Academic Affairs, interim Dean of the School of Arts & Sciences, Department Chair, and Special Assistant to the President for Strategic Initiatives. She completed the Management Development Program at Harvard University, received her Ph.D. from the University at Buffalo, and earned her Master’s from the Newhouse School at Syracuse University. Lynne is a strong proponent of professional development at every stage of the career cycle and also believes in consistently pushing the comfort zone to take on new challenges. This has led her to take a 50-day bicycle ride across the U.S. from Oregon to New Hampshire, walk 120 miles on the Camino de Santiago, and travel widely in the U.S. and abroad.
