About Jean Dolan (She/Her)

Jean CS Dolan is a communication strategist, writer and educator with exceptional proficiency and leadership in promoting an organization’s mission and objectives. She’s currently director of DEI and Community Engagement at Bucks County Community College, managing community and government relations and programs focused on diversity, equity and inclusion. For more than 20 years before that, Jean was the assistant director of public relations and marketing at the public, two-year college. She has also been an adjunct professor for more than a decade, teaching public speaking, media relations, communication planning, and other subjects. Her earlier career spanned more than a decade in journalism, from radio to financial news reporting. She earned her master’s in professional communication from La Salle University, where she also serves on the alumni advisory board for the communication department, and earlier earned her undergraduate degree in English at La Salle, and her associate degree in journalism from Bucks County Community College. Jean lives in Newtown, Bucks County, with her family of five and Jack Russel Terrier
