Communication is one of the most in-demand skills for individuals at every level of an organization, from entry-level through senior management. Good communication is key to foster an open and productive work environment. To communicate more effectively with co-workers, donors, volunteers, board members, and supervisors/supervisees, we need to expand our understanding of the process of communication and also learn how we can put this knowledge into practice.

In this class, you’ll learn about different communication styles and how you can deliver messages to communicate and work more effectively with others, including those who have a different style, are from a different generation, or have been resistant to change/new ideas. We’ll also provide a framework for how to engage in difficult conversations to address challenges and pursue opportunities to improve our outcomes.
