BoardCorps™: Beyond Bootcamp: Board Officers and Committee Chairs
Beyond Bootcamp is an advanced step in board leadership development

This full-day experience is designed for currently serving board members who are in, or moving toward, leadership roles on nonprofit boards as officers or committee chairs. Preparing you to make an even greater impact as a leader, Beyond Bootcamp delves into modern governance models to enhance committee structure, demonstrates how to design and run effective meetings, hire and evaluate the executive director, prepare for succession and transition, recruit and retain board members, etc. Just as you bring a high level of skills to your personal life and work, this program enables you to perform at the highest levels in your community service.

Beyond Bootcamp is currently offered as on-site training for the convenience of an organization's board leadership, with a curriculum built around your agency's unique culture, values, mission, and structure.

BoardCorps™: Achieving Board Excellence through Best Practices -- MEMBERPLUS BENEFIT
You can take a giant leap forward for free by joining The Nonprofit Center at the MemberPlus level, which entitles you to an approximately 2.5 hour on-site "Achieving Board Excellence through Best Practices" presentation by one of our governance experts.  This session gives insight into effectively performing the roles and responsibilities of board members, including legal liability, strategic planning, financial management, chief executive assessment and organizational performance evaluation.  Any board committed to excellence, as well as those beginning a major undertaking such as strategic planning or a fundraising campaign, will be more effective as a result of this presentation.  For MemberPlus members who renew their membership, we offer advanced trainings in fundraising, board recruitment and retention, finances, succession planning, and more, building on the skills you've already acquired.
