Volunteer Consultants of Executive Service Corps of The Delaware Valley at The Nonprofit Center
In 2006, Executive
Service Corps (ESC) of the Delaware Valley joined The Nonprofit Center's consulting practice. The
hallmark of ESC has always been to provide high quality, low-cost
consulting expertise to nonprofits, and that mission has been retained
with the move to The Nonprofit Center.
ESC's volunteer consultants are primarily retired businessmen and women who have held highly responsible positions in their professions. They have entered the "give-back" phase of their careers and offer their time, energy and vast experience to help strengthen organizations like yours. The relationship with ESC compliments our existing network of professional consultants and enables The Nonprofit Center to further expand its service to the local sector by providing a continuum of consulting expertise for every size nonprofit.
As many businesses undergo changes, ESC has benefitted from a number of employed individuals serving part-time as volunteer consultants, in a redefinition of their positions. Thus, they are able to share their business acumen with nonprofits through the community service commitment of their employers.
