News Release:  Adrienne Jenkins Brings 20 Years of Consulting Experience

NEW CONSULTING DIRECTOR APPOINTED




Philadelphia, PA, August 20, 2007 - Adrienne Jenkins has been named director of consulting for The  Nonprofit Center at La Salle University, the region’s most comprehensive organization serving the education, training, consulting and leadership development needs of the greater Philadelphia region’s nonprofit sector. 

Jenkins bring to The Nonprofit Center more than  20 years of professional experience in market research and analysis, business development, financial analysis and planning, and consulting, in both the corporate and nonprofit sectors. 

She was formerly executive director of the Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance as well as president of the Executive Service Corps of the Delaware Valley (ESCDV).  She was instrumental in facilitating a partnership that brought ESCDV to The Nonprofit Center, doubling the center’s consulting corps in order to better serve smaller nonprofit organizations with their nonprofit consulting needs. 

As director of consulting, Jenkins will work with nonprofit organizations, matching them with nonprofit experts to assist them with key projects in such areas as strategic planning, fundraising, and organizational and leadership development.

In addition to expert consulting, The Nonprofit Center provides education and training and leadership development for nonprofit organizations throughout the greater Philadelphia region.

“Adrienne brings a unique combination of skills and experience – as a consultant, an executive director, a financial manager, and a marketing expert – all of which will benefit our clients as she evaluates their needs and facilitates their consulting projects,” said Laura Otten, Ph.D., director of The Nonprofit Center. 

She holds an MBA from Drexel University and a BS from Penn State University.

           
She replaces Jason Rash, who served in that position for six years.
